As Lomography themselves say "a little shot of sunshine in a canister!". Redscale is an experimental process of spooling the film into its canister backwards, exposing the back-side to the light, rather than the emulsion side.
Have a play with the ISO setting on your camera to adjust the intensity of the red/yellow over-tones.
