Our Scan Resolutions - How To Choose

Standard Quality Jpegs 2728 x 1830 approx 2 – 3mb - perfect for social media/online use. Great for domestic/sentimental/test prints. Best print sizes 6x4, 7x5, 8x6.

Medium Quality Jpegs 3637 x 2433 approx 5 – 7mb - a great all rounder. Perfect for online and print purposes. Ideal for printing large as A4.

High Quality Jpegs 5444 x 3649 approx 12 – 18mb - good for printing up to A3 whilst still retaining brilliant quality. Might be automatically compressed for online use or you may need to reduce image size manually before uploading.

High Quality TIFFS 6774 x 4492 approx 80 – 90mb - designed for professional use. TIFF files are great for commercial/gallery/project work. Has great retention of quality in editing software. Can be printed up to A0 if sized and formatted correctly. With an easy amount of re-sizing, it can be perfect for online use too.
